The SaaS Laravel starter kits are commercial software. When you buy a kit you get a license to use it — you do not buy the code itself. This page explains what that license allows.

Building for a client?

You can deliver a finished application to a client, including the parts of the kit it needs to run. The client may not reuse or resell the kit on its own.

1. Who may use the Software

You may use the Software only if you bought it through an official SaaS Laravel purchase, such as a GitHub Sponsors tier listed on the pricing page. "You" means the person or the organization that made the purchase. Members of your team may use the Software only to work on your own End Products.

The "Software" means the SaaS Laravel starter kits (Vue, React and Svelte), including their source code, documentation, designs and updates. The Software is licensed, not sold.

2. What you may do

1. Use and modify the Software to build web applications, SaaS products and websites ("End Products").
2. Build unlimited End Products for yourself or for your clients, and use them commercially.
3. Deliver an End Product to a client, including the parts of the Software that are needed to run it.
4. Keep your code, including the Software, in private repositories.
5. Receive updates for as long as you have access to the kit repository.

3. What you may not do

1. Resell, sublicense, rent, lend, share or give away the Software, in whole or in part, whether modified or not.
2. Publish the source code of the Software, in whole or in part, in any public place — including public repositories, forks, gists, package registries, marketplaces, file sharing sites, blogs or tutorials.
3. Use the Software to create or offer a starter kit, boilerplate, template, theme or any product that competes with the Software.
4. Share your repository access, invitations or login details with anyone who has not bought their own license.
5. Remove or change this license or any copyright notice in the Software.

Short excerpts of the documentation may be quoted with a link back to saas-laravel.com.

4. Ownership

ERAG keeps all rights, title and ownership of the Software. You own the code you write yourself on top of the Software.

5. Third-party components

The Software includes open-source packages such as Laravel, Inertia, Vue, React, Svelte and Tailwind CSS. Each of these packages remains under its own license, and this license does not change those licenses.

6. Termination

This license ends automatically if you break any of its terms. When it ends, you must stop using the Software and delete every copy you have. Sections 3, 4, 7 and 8 continue to apply after the license ends.

7. No warranty

The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

In no event shall ERAG be liable for any claim, damages or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort or otherwise, arising from, out of or in connection with the Software or the use or other dealings in the Software. Any liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software.
